There’s nothing like an ice cold drink on a hot, sunny day drenching your taste buds in the tropical and refreshing flavors of a tart lime and a bright and sweet orange, the tang of a Tajin rim, and the jolt of tequila.

Margaritas are — and probably forever will be — a staple cocktail.

Alix Earle definitely enjoys a perfectly made, simple and convenient margarita. Recently, Earle — an incredibly popular influencer — has partnered with SipMARGS, a canned sparkling margarita company dedicated to quality and hassle-free drinks.

In an Instagram post, Earle and SipMARGS hard-launched the partnership between the influencer and its ready-to-drink cocktails, marking a new era for the not-so-well known brand.

So why would Earle choose to collaborate with a business with such a low following?

The answer is honestly quite simple: SipMARGS wanted to expand its marketing for further growth, and Earle — while being a true fan of the drink — has a lifestyle and brand that fit impeccably with SipMARGS’ marketing goals. But it wasn’t her enjoyment of the canned cocktails that sealed the deal for Earle.

This partnership meant more to Earle than just being the face of the rebrand. “There may have been larger, more established companies looking to collaborate, but pushing myself to take risks and invest in a startup that I believe in felt like a great next step to accelerate me in my entrepreneurial efforts,” said Earle, emphasizing her drive and ambition to grow her own brand substantially.

According to a Forbes article, Earle “intends to be actively engaged in the marketing and creative direction of SipMARGS, but also wants the brand to stand on its own and live beyond her involvement.”

Earle’s influence paired with SipMARGS’ products and marketing is sure to entice new consumers from all over, expanding SipMARGS to becoming a household name.

To me, this match is like the perfect margarita — refreshing, bold and a little spicy.
