Desiree Mahr is a senior double majoring in public relations and Spanish at The University of Alabama. Through past internships and volunteer work, Desiree has gained a wealth of experience in public relations and is eager to start her career.

Currently, Desiree is a student writer at The University of Alabama Media Relations Office. Her past positions include serving as a public relations intern with The Hauser Group, a St. Louis-based public relations agency, as well as with the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership and United Way of Greater St. Louis. Her additional experience includes writing as a staff member for The Crimson White, reporting as an intern for WVUA7 News and working as an assistant at the Headquarters Air Mobility Command Public Affairs office, located in Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
